Key insights

To be eligible for Fee-Free TAFE funding, participants must be:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
  • a Queensland resident
  • 15 years or over and no longer at school
  • not currently enrolled in training
  • not already accessed Fee-Free TAFE
