To gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and solutions during the recruitment process, employers that actively engaged in the HCWSP were interviewed.

The interviews also included factors influencing staff retention and what they considered the most effective strategies for retaining staff. The report details recruitment barriers and strategies adopted by employers, as well as retention barriers and strategies implemented to overcome these barriers. Supervision and support is then analysed including professional boundaries and wellbeing initiatives.
