The HCWSP resulted in a significant number of learnings and opportunities for individuals to understand, acknowledge and implement Person-Centered Care and ways of working within a PCC framework.
Learning Resources are to be used by Care Providers, Personal Care Workers, RTOs to better support workers to understand the diversity of older Queenslanders, enabling them to deliver high quality person-centred care.

Silver Rainbow (LGBTI+)
What is the Silver Rainbow?
The Silver Rainbow LGBTI Aged Care Awareness Training Project, managed by LGBTIQ+ Health Australia and funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health, delivers training across Australia in collaboration with state and territory partners. The project provides training to aged care services, assessment teams, allied health services, and other stakeholders, with the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health adapting resources for home care settings.
